On the evening of June 28, the Department of Culture and Sports , the Standing Agency of the Organizing Committee for Celebrating Major Holidays of Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the Labor Federation, the City Youth Union, the Women's Union, the Farmers' Association, and the Veterans' Association of the city, organized an art program to honor typical cultural and happy families on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2025) with the theme: "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation".

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - affirmed: June 28 every year is an important occasion to honor the good traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families. This is also a meaningful time to organize practical activities, exchange and share experiences in building families, towards sustainable development, especially in the current context.
Mr. Trung emphasized: "This is the time, the opportunity for everyone to sit together, gather together and realize the value of each "family cell" in the "social cell" complex. Each family, each beautiful flower will create a fragrant flower garden in Uncle Ho's city."
In particular, 2025 marks an important turning point in the city's development process. According to him, each family needs to continue to promote good cultural values, build a prosperous, equal, progressive, happy and united family. Families need to actively participate in community activities, especially accompanying and responding to movements and campaigns launched by Party committees, authorities, fronts and socio -political organizations. Thereby, contributing to raising social responsibility, community awareness, and the spirit of mastery of each citizen, improving the quality of material and spiritual life, contributing to the implementation of the city's common development goals.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City calls on each family and each member to join hands and actively respond to the "Digital Literacy for All" movement. The movement not only aims to popularize knowledge about information technology and digital skills for people but also encourages each family member to study and progress together. In which, grandparents and parents set an example in studying to set an example for their children and grandchildren; children and grandchildren support grandparents and parents in getting acquainted with technology. From there, each family will become a digital cell, contributing to building a comprehensive digital society, accompanying the government and people in the digital transformation process.
He also said: "HCMC always attaches importance to building a cultural and happy family as the foundation, a place to nurture humanistic values, ethics and cultural identity to contribute to building the city's human culture. The city is committed to continuing to create conditions and support cultural movements, encouraging the participation of everyone, all classes of people. At the event, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City awarded Certificates of Merit and commended 90 typical cultural and happy families in 2025. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City awarded Certificates of Merit to 26 collectives and 15 individuals who had outstanding achievements in deploying and implementing the Criteria for building happy families of the Project "Research on building criteria for evaluating happy families in Ho Chi Minh City, period 2021 - 2030".
