On June 30, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1417/QD-TTg on the establishment of the Government Steering Committee on administrative procedure reform and decentralization.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is Head of the Steering Committee.

The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh (Permanent Deputy Head); Minister, Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son; Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra.

One of the tasks of the Steering Committee is to assist the Government and the Prime Minister in promptly directing the immediate resolution of important, inter-sectoral issues regarding difficulties and obstacles of people and the business community in implementing administrative procedures and ministries, branches and localities in the process of implementing administrative procedure reform, decentralization, delegation of authority, application of information technology, digital transformation in handling administrative procedures; initiatives and proposals to handle mechanisms, policies and administrative procedures that are barriers to production and business activities of enterprises and people's lives...
