According to the representative of the Sao Mai Clean Mushroom Cooperative, the group currently supplies 2-3 tons of straw mushrooms and button mushrooms each month, but still cannot meet market demand. These mushrooms are supplied to restaurants, hotels in Hanoi and pagodas.

Straw mushrooms have a growing period of 30-35 days/batch, depending on the weather, mushrooms only need to be planted once and can be harvested within a few months. In recent years, the demand for mushrooms has increased, the reason is that this vegetable is grown in a clean environment, rich in nutrients, suitable for many people on a diet.

Sao Mai Clean Mushroom Cooperative currently has 11 members, producing on an area of ​​5,000 ^m2 . The cooperative creates jobs for 6 workers with an income of 10-15 million VND/person/month.

In 2022, the cooperative's mushroom products achieved 3-star OCOP certification.
