Organize 28 training courses for population - health - children collaborators in 2025

DNO - Implementing the annual work plan, the Da Nang City Department of Population organized 28 training courses on professional skills and Population - Development for the team of Population - Health - Children collaborators. This is one of the key activities within the Health - Population target program in 2025, aiming to improve the capacity of collaborators in the city.

Master Phung Thi Huong Hanh, Head of the Department, gave a speech at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Phung Thi Huong Hanh - Head of the Da Nang City Population Department emphasized: "Population - health - children collaborators are the core force at the grassroots level, playing an important role in implementing population policies, monitoring demographic changes and transferring reproductive health care knowledge to the people. Organizing regular training, especially in the current period when many major policies of the Party and State need to be updated, is an urgent requirement to meet practical needs".

Immediately after the opening session, Master Phung Thi Huong Hanh and Master Vo Chi Trung directly took on the role of reporting the first two classes to the Hai Chau District Collaborators. The topics presented included: orientation of population and development work for the period 2025-2030; updating knowledge of communication to control gender imbalance at birth; skills to guide population statistics reporting according to Circular 01/2022/TT-BYT and updating the content of amending Article 10 of the Population Ordinance recently passed by the National Assembly on June 3, 2025.

According to the plan, 28 classes will be held from June 23 to July 10, 2025, a total of 840 collaborators will be trained, focusing on training newly recruited collaborators and those who have not updated their knowledge for more than 2 years.

The training content closely follows the objectives of the Health - Population Target Program for the period 2021-2025, with a vision for the period 2026-2030, with special emphasis on the role of communication in behavior change, comprehensive health care for subjects to improve population quality in population and development policies.

At the same time, provide guidance on initial recording methods, use of statistical forms, and application of technology in population management in the new situation of ending district-level operations and preparing for the merger of provinces and cities.

The training course is expected to contribute to improving the quality of population - health - children collaborators in the city, meeting the increasing demands in population and development work.
