To better perform the work of "Repaying gratitude", taking care of the lives of people with revolutionary contributions and families of martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with ministries, agencies, and Party committees to direct local authorities to organize activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day at the Central level in a practical, solemn, and effective manner; promptly guide provinces and cities to consider and appraise the recognition of people with revolutionary contributions to ensure publicity and transparency; urgently coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to effectively carry out the work of identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information.

The Ministry of National Defense shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs and other ministries, agencies, and Party committees to direct relevant local authorities to speed up the progress of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information by 2030 and the following years.
The Ministry of Public Security presides over and coordinates with ministries, agencies, and localities to organize a preliminary summary of the implementation of DNA sample collection for relatives of martyrs whose identities have not been determined.
The Ministry of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with ministries, agencies and localities to arrange and ensure budget funds, and guide provinces and centrally run cities to fully and promptly implement regimes and policies for people with revolutionary contributions.
The Ministry of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Home Affairs to guide and urge provinces and centrally run cities to implement and complete housing support for people with revolutionary contributions before July 27.
The Central Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Veterans Association launched a youth volunteer movement to care for wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of martyrs and people with revolutionary contributions, and a movement to renovate and care for works honoring martyrs to ensure they are "bright - green - clean - beautiful"; each martyrs' cemetery is a flower garden to pay tribute to and remember the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland and the people.
The Party Committee directs the People's Committees of provinces and cities to promptly carry out administrative procedures in considering recognition of meritorious people and paying preferential allowances to ensure smoothness, efficiency, and no interruptions when arranging administrative units and implementing the 2-level local government model; organize visits and give gifts to meritorious people and relatives of martyrs promptly, fully, and to the right subjects; focus on completing housing support for relatives of martyrs and meritorious people before July 27 (mobilizing military and police forces to help with transportation of materials, construction, environmental sanitation, etc.).
The Prime Minister emphasized that this is a task of special importance, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, State and people for the families of martyrs and those who have rendered service to the revolution.
