According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the day and night of June 27, many localities, especially the Northwest and Viet Bac regions, will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain concentrated in the evening and at night.

Many localities in the northern mountainous region are at high risk of flash floods and landslides.

From June 27-28, the Northwest and Viet Bac (Northern) regions will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 30-70mm, locally over 200mm. Rain will be concentrated in the late afternoon and at night. Warning of the risk of localized heavy rain over 100mm/3 hours.

In addition, on the day and night of June 27, other places in the North, Thanh Hoa - Nghe An will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15-30 mm, locally over 80 mm.

In the afternoon and evening of June 27, in the Central Highlands and the South, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 50mm.

On the morning of June 26, rain with accumulated rainfall in the following localities: Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Lang Son from 20-40mm, some places over 70mm; Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang and Bac Kan from 10-20mm, some places over 50mm.

Therefore, warnings are issued for areas at risk of flash floods and landslides: Tan Uyen, Than Uyen (Lai Chau); Bac Me, Bac Quang, Dong Van, Hoang Su Phi, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Quang Binh, Ha Giang city, Vi Xuyen, Xin Man, Yen Minh (Ha Giang); Lam Binh, Na Hang (Tuyen Quang); Pac Nam (Bac Kan); Bao Lac, Bao Lam, Ha Lang, Hoa An, Quang Hoa, Thach An, Cao Bang city, Trung Khanh (Cao Bang) and Trang Dinh (Lang Son).

At sea, during the day and night of June 27, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the northern part of the Gulf of Tonkin, the central part of the East Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 6-7. All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

Hanoi capital

Northwest

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. In the Northwest region, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; rain will be concentrated in the late afternoon and at night. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- The lowest temperature is from 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places below 22 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is from 31-34 degrees Celsius, in the Northwest region from 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. In the North Vietnam region, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain, concentrated in the late afternoon and at night. Southeast to South wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places below 23 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Area from Thanh Hoa-Hue

- Sunny day, hot in some places. In the evening and at night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. In the area from Thanh Hoa to Nghe An, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 32-35 degrees Celsius, some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

Area from Da Nang-Binh Thuan

- Sunny day, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and night. West to Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 32-35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. In the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 21-24 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Southern Vietnam

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. In the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 24-27 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature from 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Also according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 a.m. on June 27, the center of the low pressure area was at about 22.2 degrees North latitude; 109.3 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area decreased to below level 6 (below 39 km/h).

It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, this low pressure area will continue to move northwest, deep into the southern mainland of Guangxi province, weaken and gradually dissipate, no longer able to affect Vietnam. This is the last news about the tropical depression.

Previously, on the evening of June 26, after entering the mainland of southern Guangxi province (China), the tropical depression weakened into a low pressure area.
