Thieu Tien commune was established from 4 communes: Thieu Tien, Thieu Thanh, Thieu Vu, Thieu Ngoc, with a natural area of 23.68km2 and a population of 25,383 people. As a land with a revolutionary tradition, the people are industrious, dynamic, and creative in labor and production, the Party Committee has led and effectively implemented the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term and achieved important and comprehensive results in all fields; many targets exceeded the resolution.
In particular, the economic growth rate is quite good; the economic structure has shifted positively, the average income per capita in 2025 is estimated to reach 70 million VND. Agricultural production has developed stably, in the direction of linkage and concentration; building a high-tech agricultural production model: Net houses, membrane houses for safe vegetable production and Kim Hoang Hau melon...
Industry - construction has grown quite well, infrastructure has been strengthened, the appearance of rural architectural space - landscape has changed clearly; technical infrastructure of Ngoc Vu Industrial Cluster Phase 1 has been completed with an area of 32.1 hectares, ensuring sufficient conditions to attract secondary investment projects. Commercial services have gradually developed. The whole commune has 1,117 enterprises, production, business, commercial service establishments, small traders, retail agents, an increase of 54 establishments compared to the beginning of the term; creating jobs for 2,530 workers, with an average income of 8 to 10 million VND/person/month.
Annual budget revenue always meets and exceeds the assigned plan, with an average annual budget revenue increase of 10%.
The national target program on new rural construction has achieved remarkable results, with 13/23 villages in the commune meeting the model new rural standards and 3 3-star OCOP products. The total investment capital for new rural construction is estimated at 315,563 billion VND; of which the central budget is 86,696 billion VND, the province is 20,730 billion VND, the district budget is 14,569 billion VND, the commune budget is 9,516 billion VND, and the people's contribution is 184,052 billion VND.
The quality of cultural and social activities continues to have positive changes; medical work and health care for the people have been improved; social security has been ensured; people's lives have been stable. The work of building the Party and the political system has been focused on, affirming the leadership role of the Party, the administration of the government, the active participation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, and the people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the administration of the government.
After more than 1 month of implementing the 2-level local government model, the operations of the political system and administrative apparatus at the commune level quickly stabilized and became routine right from the first day and the first week of operating the new apparatus. Focusing on developing the economy - society quickly and sustainably, associated with strengthening the consolidation of national defense - security; ensuring social security policies, gradually improving and enhancing the quality of spiritual life for the people. Promoting the application of science - technology and digital transformation in all areas of social life; soon completing the model of "Digital Government - Digital Economy - Digital Society and Digital Citizen", creating a favorable environment for businesses and the private economic sector to develop. Complete the commune planning project until 2035, with a vision to 2050; focus on developing and completing the traffic infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction, creating development space to attract and exploit resources for development investment. Improve the quality of life while ensuring the landscape and environment; build a "Friendly - civilized - modern" lifestyle for each citizen.
People of Thieu Tien commune build a high-tech agricultural model that brings economic efficiency.
For the 2025-2030 term, with the motto of action "Democracy - Discipline - Solidarity - Creativity - Development", the Party Committee of the commune sets out 11 economic targets, 9 socio-cultural targets, 2 environmental targets, 1 target on security and order, and 2 targets on Party building.
Thoroughly grasping the Party's viewpoint that "Socio-economic development is the center; Party building is the key; building culture and people as the spiritual foundation; strengthening national defense and security is essential and regular", the Party Committee of Thieu Tien commune has proposed key solutions for each target and each task. Priority is given to solving pressing social issues of concern to the people.
