Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Do Dang Bao Linh said: “After completing the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam, on the afternoon of June 27, 64 high school graduation exam sites in the province handed over all candidates' exam papers to the gathering points as planned. On June 28, the department will conduct the exam marking work, and at the same time strive to complete the exam marking work according to the general plan prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.”
Closing the special graduation exam
The 2025 High School Graduation Exam is considered a special exam not only for candidates in Dong Nai but also for the whole country. This is the first High School Graduation Exam to be held according to the 2018 General Education Program, while still maintaining the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program for independent candidates who want to take the exam for graduation, or just get the results for university admission. Not only the Department of Education and Training, but also the provincial leaders are particularly interested in this year's High School Graduation Exam, because in addition to the new points of the exam, the exam is held at a time close to the implementation of the 2-level local government and many tasks related to the merger of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provinces.
Director of Department of Education and Training TRUONG THI KIM HUE:
Implement serious exam marking, ensuring the rights of candidates
After completing the exam organization, the Department of Education and Training will immediately start the exam marking work from June 28. Currently, the list of officials and teachers assigned to mark the exam has been prepared and is ready to start the assigned task. The highest goal in the exam marking process is to be serious, safe, accurate and ensure the rights of candidates.
Principal of Xuan Tho High School (Xuan Loc District), Head of the graduation examination site at Chu Van An High School (Bien Hoa City) Vu Ngoc Cuong said: "The examination site has 677 candidates from high school and continuingeducation programs taking the exam together. The exam organization process took place according to plan, candidates were facilitated in all aspects during the 3 exam sessions, no candidates were late or suspended from the exam due to violating the regulations. On the other hand, although the organization of the exam this year had some complicated stages of invigilation, especially on the exam day of elective subjects, thanks to the invigilators' firm grasp of the exam regulations, there were no errors that affected the rights of candidates."
At the exam site of Ngo Quyen High School (Bien Hoa city), after the last exam session on the morning of June 27, many candidates were satisfied with the exam questions in the subjects, even though this was the first time the exam questions were given according to the new structure of the 2018 General Education Program.
Candidate Pham Thi Thu Ha, a candidate taking the exam at Ngo Quyen High School, said: "The Literature exam did not use all the materials in the textbook, which was something I knew in advance during my review process, but the exam was very relevant to the country's current events during the revolution to streamline the apparatus, so I did quite well on the Literature exam."
Meanwhile, Pham Thi Huong, a candidate at the Forestry High School (Trang Bom District), said: “After completing all the exams, I feel secure about the most important goal of getting enough points to graduate from high school. However, with Math, a component subject used for university admission, I am a bit worried because the exam is quite long, has a strange structure and difficult content. After reviewing the answers, I can only get 6 points in Math, not as good as my goal before the exam.”
Responsibility for important exams
The high school graduation exam is always considered an important exam, the responsibility of which lies not only with the Department of Education and Training, but also with the entire political system from the province down to the grassroots level. Although this year's exam took place at a time when the province was focusing on arranging the 2-level government apparatus and merging the province, the candidates still received the best possible attention and support.
Colonel Tran Anh Son, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, said that although there are no district-level police officers present for this year's exam, the Provincial Police have increased their forces and directed the commune-level police to increase support for the exam sites, ensuring absolute safety. In addition, the Provincial Police also organized a working group to inspect and carry out security and order for the exam at many exam sites, contributing to the success of the exam.
The officers and soldiers assigned to the task strictly followed the instructions of the Provincial Police, providing maximum support to the candidates. During the exam days, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police and the commune level not only ensured security and order, but also directly supported the candidates with drinking water and friendly words of encouragement. In particular, some cases of incidents on the way to the exam site, mistakenly holding each other's exam cards in Thong Nhat and Long Thanh districts were promptly supported by traffic police officers and soldiers using special vehicles to get to the exam site on time.
Principal of Bui Thi Xuan Secondary School (Bien Hoa City) Pham Thi Ngoc Ly said: “The exam site held at the school has a large number of candidates compared to other exam sites in the province, but the organization of the exam this year is very thoughtful, especially the work of ensuring security, order and traffic safety in front of the school gate. During the 3 days of the exam, officers and soldiers of the Provincial and Ward Police were continuously present to support the exam site to ensure smooth traffic, and candidates coming to and leaving the exam were always convenient and safe.”
According to Dong Nai Electricity Company Limited, during the 3 days of high school graduation exams, from June 25 to 27, all 64 high school graduation exam sites in the province did not have any sudden power outages or electrical equipment problems inside the exam sites. After the exam organization is completed, in the coming days, the electricity sector will continue to prioritize stable power supply to the exam marking area until all exam marking work is completed.
