Financial Inspectorate recommends handling nearly 14,000 billion VND

On the evening of February 10, the Ministry of Finance announced the implementation status of the Ministry's January 2025 work program.

In January 2025, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance and specialized units under the Ministry conducted 10,231 inspections and checks at units; checked 155,666 records at agency headquarters.

From there, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance and the units recommended financial handling of 13,969,815 million VND; of which, it recommended recovering and paying to the state budget 3,440,700 million VND, and recommended handling other financial matters 10,529,114 million VND.

The competent authority imposed an administrative fine of 618,764 million VND. The amount collected and paid to the state budget during the period was 2,379,159 million VND.

Also according to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry has issued 6,700 tons of national reserve rice to help people during the Lunar New Year and the crop gap in early 2025 in 10 localities, including: Gia Lai, Bac Kan , Ha Giang, Kon Tum, Dak Nong, Ninh Thuan, Cao Bang, Dak Lak, Soc Trang, Tuyen Quang; and issued rice during the crop gap in early 2025 to two provinces, Gia Lai and Kon Tum.
