On the morning of August 24, the Ninh Binh City Military Command held the opening ceremony of the 2023 militia and self-defense force training.
According to the plan, within 12 days (from August 24 to September 9), 380 militia officers and soldiers from 14 communes, wards and agencies in Ninh Binh city will be equipped with knowledge of political education, law and military training. The content of political and legal education includes: The Party's viewpoint on partners and subjects of the Vietnamese revolution; militia and self-defense forces participating in building a national defense to protect the Fatherland in the new situation; propaganda and mobilization work of militia and self-defense forces to participate in resolving some complicated situations in the locality; socio-economic situation, political security, social order and safety, etc.
In addition, general military training and specialized training are organized: artillery, engineering, chemical defense, information, reconnaissance, air defense and medicine . At the end of the training, students are tested and evaluated on the results of each content.
In order to ensure the training session is of good quality, the City Military Command has developed a specific and detailed training plan, schedule, and program; ensured adequate facilities, training grounds, lesson plans, lectures, and training models; and ensured that sufficient training personnel are maintained, with the correct content and time as prescribed.
Through training, the militia and self-defense forces are equipped with a clear understanding of the plots and tricks of hostile forces, improve combat readiness, and coordinate forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in the city.
