Attending the ceremony were comrade Ha Trung Kien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the conference, the Decision of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association on the establishment of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Veterans Association (new) on the basis of merging the Tuyen Quang Provincial Veterans Association and the Ha Giang Provincial Veterans Association (old) was announced; the Decision appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, President, Vice President of the new term; the Inspection Committee and the Head of the Inspection Committee. Comrade Pham Van Minh was appointed to hold the position of President of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Veterans Association.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ha Trung Kien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, affirmed that the establishment of the Veterans Association of Tuyen Quang province is of great significance, demonstrating a strong shift in the process of perfecting the organization after the merger, while creating a foundation to build an increasingly strong and effective Association, contributing positively to the overall development of the province.

He suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Veterans Association should soon develop a program and prepare well for the successful organization of the new term Veterans Association Congress. Develop a scientific and practical work program, focusing on perfecting the organizational structure, ensuring smooth operation between the two provincial and grassroots levels; consolidate branches, clearly assign tasks in the Executive Committee, develop synchronous working regulations; focus on applying digital transformation in the Association's activities; overcome difficulties in working and living conditions of cadres and members.
Comrade Ha Trung Kien believes that the Provincial Veterans Association will continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, uphold traditions, spread the revolutionary spirit to the younger generation, excellently complete all assigned tasks, and be worthy of being a trusted political and social organization of the Party, government and people.
