At the ceremony, the Party Committee of Don Duong commune announced the decisions of competent authorities such as the Decision to establish the Party Committee of the commune; Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; Decision to appoint the Inspection Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the commune; Resolution to appoint the Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Heads of the committees of the People's Council of the commune; Resolution to appoint the Chairman of the People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of the commune; Decision to recognize the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune.
Don Duong commune was established under Resolution 1671/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province in 2025, on the basis of merging 3 commune-level administrative units including Thanh My town, Da Ron commune, Tu Tra commune (old Don Duong district).
At the launching ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Don Duong Commune, Tran Hung Dung, pledged to continuously improve the government apparatus towards effectiveness, efficiency and closeness to the people; build a creative, professional, honest, active and serving government; ensure stable people's lives, preserve the inherent cultural identity - landscape; promote digital transformation, administrative reform to serve people and businesses better every day; take people's satisfaction as a measure for each decision and action; strengthen dialogue, be close to the people, listen to the people's legitimate thoughts and aspirations; build a government that is united - disciplined - responsible - dedicated - creative; focus on socio -economic development along with preserving the landscape, environment and local culture.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Duong Thi Nga - Secretary of the Party Committee of Don Duong commune requested that the advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee quickly stabilize their organizations, uphold their sense of responsibility, promote their qualities and professional capacity to effectively advise the Party Committee in the work of building the Party, government and political system at the grassroots level. At the same time, the units must ensure close and synchronous coordination, maintain discipline and administrative order.
For the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, it is necessary to strengthen its core role in consolidating the great national unity bloc, promoting the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work, and proactively grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people, contributing to creating consensus and enhancing trust in the Party and the government.
