Ho Chi Minh City brings Nha Rong Wharf and DK1 Platform to the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition

In the Socio -Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th National Day, Ho Chi Minh City was assigned to create a separate large-scale exhibition area, fully reflecting the appearance and leading role of this special city.

According to the project, Ho Chi Minh City will take the lead in developing content, designing, constructing, staging and operating a space to introduce the beauty, resources, heritage, and outstanding achievements in the city’s cultural, economic and social development. This space belongs to the “Rich Province, Strong Country” sub-area in the general exhibition area.

In this area, with contents such as reenacting the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, under the theme "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way", it is not only a reminder of the historic moment in 1975 when the South was liberated and the country was reunified, but also affirms the city's position and contribution to the country's construction and development over the past half century.

The outdoor exhibition area is now gradually being completed. There will be many models of special works of Ho Chi Minh City such as: Nha Rong Wharf, Con Dao Special Zone, oil rig, Thu Dau Mot Market, lighthouse in the coastal city...

In the indoor exhibition area, Ho Chi Minh City will use modern technology to introduce key national projects being implemented in the area, as well as development milestones associated with the journey 50 years after unification. These displays will show the image of a dynamic, creative city, constantly innovating to fulfill its role as the leading economic, cultural, scientific and technological center of the country.

In particular, Ho Chi Minh City is also responsible for organizing cultural and artistic programs, forums, and seminars on creative industries, entertainment industries, and the network of creative cities in Vietnam and the world. The city also participates in the exhibition at the theme area "Creativity for construction", which introduces 12 cultural industries, areas in which Ho Chi Minh City has many strengths.

The Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2nd is a large-scale political-cultural event of national significance. With the theme “Brilliant Vietnam - 80 years of journey of independence, freedom and happiness”, the exhibition not only honors the country’s great achievements in the fields of economy, culture, society, science, education, security - defense and foreign affairs, but also affirms the position, mettle and development aspirations of the Vietnamese people in the new era.

The exhibition takes place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi), with a total exhibition area of over 250,900m², including indoor and outdoor spaces. The content is divided into many large sections: a general exhibition area with topics on history, the Party, the State and development achievements; an outdoor area introducing green industry, aerospace, security - defense, culture - tourism; an international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries demonstrating the spirit of integration and creativity.
