Sun Group elevates Ba Na with a super resort and entertainment complex at the foot of the mountain worth 52 trillion VND

On August 27, 2025, at Ba Na Mountain area, Sun Group Corporation and Da Nang City People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ba Na - Suoi Mo resort and entertainment urban complex with a total investment of phase 2 worth 52 trillion VND.

The project is expected to create a top-class tourism-resort-real estate super city in the region, adding leverage for Da Nang to increase its competitiveness after merging with Quang Nam , becoming an international destination.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City assessed: "After the merger, Da Nang City has expanded its geographical space 10 times, opening up many development opportunities with new potentials". Therefore, "projects belonging to the Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Area complex will be works that contribute to completing the classy and multi-experience ecosystem in Ba Na, meeting the increasing needs of tourists, especially when Da Nang aims to welcome tens of millions of visitors each year".

The Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Area Complex spans the area of ​​Ba Na and Hoa Vang communes with a scale of 806 hectares, with a total investment of up to 52,000 billion VND, including: Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Area at the foot of Ba Na Mountain and the Eco-tourism Area on the top of Ba Na Mountain.

In particular, the Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Area Complex at the foot of the mountain will be built with typical subdivisions including: Amusement park area (Water park, thrill area, family game area...); High-tech amusement park area (Space adventure game area - 5D theater, future world discovery area, VR game area - virtual reality...). When formed, this amusement park area will be the "heart of the city", creating a vibrant center day and night, where visitors and residents can satisfy all their senses with a variety of experiences from entertainment to shopping, cuisine and four-season festivals.

The Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Area Complex will contribute to bringing Da Nang tourism to international level.

The highlight of the complex is the urban area with a variety of housing types, connected with open spaces filled with trees and flower gardens, connected by a system of zoning traffic, internal traffic and main urban traffic axes. In particular, the low-rise residential area is designed with a variety of villas and townhouses in a modern architectural style, in harmony with the natural landscape. Along with that are types of villas along the mountain slopes, designed to blend into the mountain forest landscape.

Also in this complex is a high-class resort and a modern golf complex with an area of ​​294 hectares, providing classy and different resort experiences amidst a beautiful natural landscape with high-class villas surrounding a modern 36-hole golf course complex...

Seamlessly connected to Vietnam's first Free Trade Zone built right in the complex, the project will create a unique iconic urban area in the world, where visitors and residents can enjoy many living spaces and experiences in one day, and constantly feel a livable destination and quality life every second like in Ba Na, Da Nang.

The uniqueness of the super complex at Ba Na will be continued at the mountain top area, with the items being implemented right in this phase, including the complex of hotels, resorts, entertainment, and multi-purpose performance halls with a scale of 2,500 rooms, 5-star standard, including entertainment areas, multi-purpose performance halls, indoor theme gardens, conference centers... with a total investment of about 20,000 billion VND.

The complex is designed in the classical French architectural style of the 16th-17th centuries, bringing unique and new experiences of resort tourism and art enjoyment to visitors to Ba Na, especially adding more diverse entertainment products and services both day and night, with multimedia art shows, unique theme parks... thereby contributing to increasing the number of visitors as well as spending and length of stay of visitors to Ba Na in particular and Da Nang in general.

On the same day, investor Sun Group also launched Ba Na cable car route No. 9 with a one-way length of 5,879m, including 154 cabins, capacity of 2,900 people/hour, promising to bring exclusive, classy experiences exclusively for tourists choosing to stay on the mountain top.

Also on August 27, 2025, Da Nang City coordinated with Sun Group to organize the Launching Ceremony of the Project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of functional area No. 5, in Da Nang City Free Trade Zone, laying the foundation for the formation of the first Free Trade Zone in Vietnam.
