On the afternoon of July 4, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training issued instructions on receiving exam results and reviewing the 10th grade entrance exam.
Accordingly, the People's Committee at the commune level will assign officials in charge ofeducation and training to receive the results of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year at the Department of Education and Training to organize the handover to secondary schools.
The People's Committees at the commune and ward levels are responsible for handing over to educational institutions where candidates have registered to take the exam, no later than July 8; handing over to independent candidates (if any), no later than July 9.

From July 10 to 12, specialized high schools and public high schools will confirm enrollment online and in person and receive students' admission applications (if any); autonomous public high schools, private high schools, and vocational education and continuing education centers will confirm enrollment directly and receive students' admission applications.
Instructions for submitting an appeal
According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, after the exam results are available, all candidates have the right to have their exam papers reviewed according to regulations. The exam papers can only be reviewed once according to the following form:

Candidates submit their application for review of their exam results at the school where they studied in grade 9 in the 2024-2025 school year; independent candidates submit their application directly to the Department of Education and Training (through the Department of Examination Management and Education Quality Assessment) between July 5 and 11.
Schools receive and check the completeness and accuracy of the information declared by candidates in the exam review application. The head of the unit signs and confirms the candidate's application.
For the People's Committees at the commune level, the Department of Education and Training recommends assigning specialized officials in the field of education and training to coordinate with educational institutions in the management area to act as the focal point to receive information, exam result reports, and review results; and guide units in reviewing exam papers.
On July 28, the People's Committee at the commune level sent officials to receive the Notice of results of the 10th grade entrance exam at the Department of Education and Training.
Educational institutions receive the 10th grade high school entrance exam review results and notify candidates of the review results.
From July 28 to 30, specialized high schools and public high schools will guide students to confirm their admission (in person) and receive their admission applications after review (if any).
Autonomous public high schools, private high schools, vocational education and continuing education centers: guide students to confirm enrollment (directly) and receive additional admission records of students (if any).
