This morning (July 4), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a meeting to review the benchmark scores for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year. While the Department has not yet announced the results, images of benchmark scores from some schools have been circulating on social media, making parents "restless".

A representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training confirmed that the images of the transcripts posted on some social media groups are inaccurate. After reviewing and completing the standard score approval process, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will simultaneously announce the exam scores and standard scores for all non-specialized public high schools and specialized schools.

Previously, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong emphasized that the final benchmark score depends on many factors such as the competition rate and the quality of candidates from each school. All predictions are for reference only, the exact results will be announced after the completion of the exam marking and review meeting.

It is expected that by July 8th at the latest, schools will receive the exam result reports to issue to students. Students who wish to have their exam results reviewed can submit their applications from July 4th to 10th.

From July 10 to 12, admitted students must confirm their enrollment.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi took place on June 7 and 8 with nearly 104,000 candidates registering to take the exam with 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. Many teachers predict that the standard score for some top schools will increase sharply because the score distribution of the three subjects Math, Literature, Foreign Language is shifting to the right, with many exams scoring 7-9.
