The tournament is jointly organized by Royal Golf and the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), affirming the stature and commitment to accompany the development of professional golf in Vietnam.
The Royal's Cup 2025 will take place from June 3 to 5 at Royal Long An Golf & Country Club - a 27-hole international standard golf course, covering over 200 hectares, designed by the legendary Sir Nick Faldo. This year, golfers will compete on the first 9 holes of Lake C and the last 9 holes of Desert A, creating an 18-hole round that is both beautiful in terms of landscape and rich in strategy.
The tournament gathered nearly 100 excellent professional and amateur athletes from across the country, with the active participation of golfers. The tournament brought tense score chases, eye-catching shots and emotional moments of sublimation.
Royal's Cup 2025 brings a total prize value of up to 1 billion VND, marking this as one of the tournaments with attractive prizes in the VGA Tour system this year. According to the tournament regulations, the tournament will compete in 3 rounds (54 holes), with a cut after 36 holes to select 50 excellent athletes.
Right from the first season, the tournament has gathered a series of famous names in Vietnamese and international golf. We can mention athlete Truong Chi Quan, an athlete who has always been in the prize money rankings of VGA Tour for many years. Besides, we cannot ignore rising stars like Yang Jung Soo - who impressed at Trang An Open 2025 and won at TaylorMade Vietnam Long Drive Championship 2025.
Other names such as Tran Le Duy Nhat, Doan Van Dinh, Sin Dong Min, Nguyen Huu Quyet, Jay Park or Stuart Matthew Brown, Park Sang Ho, Nguyen Nhat Long,... will also participate in the tournament and are ready to conquer the prestigious championship of the Royal's Cup.
The prestigious championship was won by athlete Yang Jung Soo, who excellently passed 54 holes of stroke play with a total gross score of 215. This golfer born in 2002 showed stable performance and top-notch competitive spirit. This result not only brought home the prestigious trophy of Royal's Cup, but also contributed significantly to the ranking on the VGA Tour - a place where Vietnamese golfers gather.
In addition, the Best Amateur award went to athlete Tran The Bao, who, despite his young age, has made a special mark for this year's season with his impressive technique and outstanding competitive spirit. This athlete excelled with a score of 222 after three rounds. In addition to bringing home a prize of 200 million VND, this victory also has a special meaning for Yang Jung Soo, as it marks his first title on the VGA Tour.
