The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) said that the 2025 high school graduation exam scores are expected to be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 16. After knowing the results, candidates will continue to prepare for the next important steps such as graduation recognition, exam review, and preparation for university and college entrance exams.
According to the plan, the marking and data comparison will be completed before 5:00 p.m. on July 13. By the morning of July 16, all exam results will be announced simultaneously on the information portals of the Ministry and the Departments of Education and Training. This is information that more than 1.16 million candidates and parents nationwide are particularly interested in.
This year’s exam is the first time it has been held simultaneously for the 2006 and 2018 generaleducation programs, with a total of 14 subjects – the highest number ever. Of which, the 2006 program has 9 subjects and the 2018 program has 13 subjects.
Several important dates to note
After announcing the exam scores, the Departments of Education and Training will consider recognizing graduation and announce the results no later than July 18.
Candidates who wish to have their exams reviewed can submit their applications from July 16 to 25. The re-scoring of the exams will be completed by August 3 at the latest. The graduation recognition process after the review will end before August 8.

More than 1.16 million candidates took the exam, 41 cases were suspended
This year’s exam saw the participation of more than 1.16 million candidates – an increase from last year. However, there were 41 cases of suspension due to violations of regulations, mainly bringing phones and documents into the exam room. Specifically, there were 22 cases in Literature, 12 in Math, and 7 more violations in combination and elective subjects.
Notably, no exam supervisors were disciplined for violations in this year's exam, showing that the exam organization and supervision were carried out strictly.
Prepare for the college admissions stage
After receiving the exam scores, candidates will enter the university and college admissions stage. This is an important step, requiring students to closely follow the information, admissions schedule, and prepare all required documents in order not to miss the opportunity to be admitted.
The Ministry of Education and Training also recommends that candidates be careful with unofficial information to avoid being scammed, especially during the process of adjusting their wishes or submitting their application.
