Son La Electronic Newspaper, formerly the Electronic Information Page of Son La Newspaper, started operating in February 2006. In August 2016, Son La Newspaper was licensed by the Ministry of Information and Communications to upgrade to Son La Electronic Newspaper, address: https://www.baosonla.org.vn and https://www.baosonla.com.vn.

In order to achieve the goal of transmitting information “Fast, correct, accurate, and interesting” and expanding its service to a wide range of audiences, Son La Electronic Newspaper continues to open specialized pages in English, Thai, and Mong languages. The three specialized pages have been licensed by the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications under license numbers 10, 11, and 12/GP-CBC on July 26, 2023 and will be officially released from August 1, 2023.
The English-language website has the domain name en.baosonla.org.vn, including 7 sections: Current events - politics ; Economy; Foreign Affairs; Society; Tourism; Sports; Culture. This is an information channel to promote Son La to the world, especially promoting the potential and strengths of Son La, attracting investment; promoting agricultural products, tourism, spreading the image of a dynamic, innovative, friendly and hospitable Son La to international friends, contributing to bringing Son La province and the whole country to proactively integrate into the international community.
The Son La Newspaper's Thai-language website has the domain name tt.baosonla.org.vn; the Mong-language website has the domain name tm.baosonla.org.vn. Both websites have 6 sections: Current events - politics; Economy; Society; Tourism; Sports; Culture, providing updated news, vivid images, rich in cultural identity of the ethnic groups of Son La; connecting historical culture - present - future on cyberspace, which can be easily looked up anytime, anywhere.
