The youth volunteer team supports the government and people in the post-merger period of administrative units. This is identified as one of the key and important activities of the 2025 summer youth volunteer campaign.
Based on the characteristics and operational situation of the local government after the merger, the Youth Union at all levels in the province have proactively deployed youth volunteer teams to "accompany the locality". Focusing on tasks such as supporting the government in editing records; instructing people to use VNeID, updating identity information, declaring records online on the public service portal, synchronizing personal data by address, cleaning the premises of administrative offices, arranging meeting rooms to prepare for voter meetings, arranging facilities, etc.

In addition, the teams have flexibly built the model "Green Shirts to Welcome People - Close to People, Close to Work" to guide people through the process of receiving and handling administrative procedures. Organized the distribution of queue numbers, supported recording, looked up file codes; deployed the "1 on 1" model to support the elderly in making social pension records. Some commune unions established "Mobile Youth Support Teams" in villages and hamlets, "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every case" to directly support people with difficulties in registering for VNeID accounts, updating personal information, confirming residence, etc.
The youth volunteer teams accompanying localities will continue to operate in the next 2 months (from July to the end of August 2025) with the goal of promoting the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of union members and youth in supporting local authorities in performing administrative tasks and digital transformation; at the same time, helping people effectively access online public services. This is also an environment for training and dedication for young people, contributing to the building of digital government and digital society right from the commune, ward and special zone levels.

During the day, the working delegations of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee led by Ms. Tran Thi Thu, Member of the Central Youth Union, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Comrade Nguyen Quoc Toan, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Inspection Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union, together with experts from the Youth Union and Youth Working Committee visited and encouraged the teams in Dong Ha ward, Hieu Giang commune, Dong Son ward and Nam Trach commune. The Provincial Youth Union leaders acknowledged the initiative and pioneering spirit of the volunteers, and at the same time requested the units to continue to closely follow the instructions, be proactive and creative in their work to meet the practical requirements of each locality.
With high determination and promoting the spirit of vanguard, Quang Tri youth continue to spread the pioneering spirit in digital transformation, administrative reform and contribute to building a friendly government serving the people.
