Reporting at the meeting, Pleiku Ward Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Phuoc stated: After the merger, the Pleiku Ward Party Standing Committee has urgently implemented the reception, arrangement, and assignment of cadres and civil servants in accordance with the criteria and instructions of the superiors. Up to now, the work of arranging cadres and civil servants has been basically completed, ensuring the organization and apparatus operate stably and effectively. At the same time, relevant leadership and directive documents have been issued for unified and synchronous management.
The Ward Public Administration Service Center is fully equipped to serve the work of receiving and resolving administrative procedures for the people. Since its establishment, the Center has received 556 records (including 302 online records and 254 direct records); processed and returned results for 326 records and is continuing to process the remaining 230 records.
Regarding finance and budget, the total budget revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 is estimated at 65.5 billion VND, equivalent to 80% of the plan assigned by the city (81.2 billion VND). Budget expenditure reached 33.8 billion VND, completing 55% of the plan. After the merger, the estimated budget revenue of the ward was adjusted to increase to 81.2 billion VND/year.

In the field of planning and investment, the ward currently has 8 zoning plans with long-term development orientation; at the same time, it is calling for investment in 15 projects with a total land area of 406.44 hectares, with an estimated investment capital of more than 21,614 billion VND. Currently, the locality is reviewing and proposing investment in 5 key projects with a total capital of more than 1,146 billion VND, including: Hung Vuong-Ba Trieu intersection, Hoa Lu intersection and Tran Van Binh, Ly Thuong Kiet, Ton That Thuyet streets.
Regarding economic development, the locality has 2,060 individual businesses and 1,373 private enterprises and companies operating mainly in the fields of food and beverage services, consumer trade, accommodation, karaoke, transportation, etc., contributing to creating a stable source of income for the locality.
The total planting area of the ward is 536.71 hectares; including a sustainable coffee production and consumption chain with an area of 144 hectares, gathering 89 members, whose products are annually guaranteed.

The "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program has also been effectively implemented with 9 production and business households in the area, with 23 OCOP certified products, initially introduced at fairs, events and e-commerce platforms.
Social security work is of interest. The ward currently has 596 beneficiaries receiving monthly allowances, 154 martyrs worshipping and 1,659 people under social protection. There are 6 poor households and 20 near-poor households in the area; the rate of people participating in health insurance is 90.3%.
Pleiku Ward Party Committee currently has 75 grassroots Party organizations with 3,221 Party members. The Ward Party Committee has directed agencies and units to focus on consulting and preparing content for the first Ward Party Congress (term 2025-2030). The congress preparation work is being carried out urgently and methodically, ensuring the correct progress and regulations.
Through working with the Standing Committee of the Pleiku Ward Party Committee and inspecting the reality at the Public Administration Service Center as well as directly visiting people coming to resolve administrative procedures, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and commended the ward's efforts in operating the two-level government.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung emphasized: Pleiku Ward needs to change its mindset, way of thinking, and way of doing things to be worthy of being the most dynamically developing ward in Gia Lai province. With the advantage of relatively complete infrastructure, spacious planning, socio-economic development in the direction of trade and services, people's lives are basically stable, national defense and security are maintained, political security, social order and safety are ensured, Pleiku Ward has all the conditions to make a strong breakthrough.
The Provincial Party Secretary suggested a number of key tasks in the coming time, Pleiku Ward Party Committee urgently completes the documents of the Ward Delegates Congress, striving to organize the Congress in mid-August 2025. The documents need to be built with a high sense of responsibility, fully reflecting the collective intelligence of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee. The content must accurately assess the potential, strengths, and development space of the locality; clearly identify the direction, goals, and solutions for comprehensive development in the new period.
Actively review and update planning for new areas, ensuring that planning is one step ahead. Planning needs to be complete at all levels: general planning, zoning planning, detailed planning, as a legal basis for investment and development. On that basis, clearly identify the focus, key investment points and mobilize appropriate resources. Attracting investment is a key task, so it is necessary to change the approach: open, friendly, creating the most favorable conditions for investors to feel satisfied when coming to the ward. In particular, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Pleiku ward must become a model ward of the whole province; must be a leader in all areas of the whole province.
Regarding the Party building work, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that this is a key task, so it is necessary to strictly maintain Party discipline and order, focus on the work of creating sources and developing new Party members; perfect the organization, perfect the working regulations and the entire term's work program. Focus on dialogue with the people, promptly resolve recommendations, complaints and denunciations right at the grassroots level. The Front and socio-political organizations continue to innovate the content and methods of operation towards being close to the people and close to the grassroots level; at the same time, rearrange mass organizations according to the Central's instructions.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung suggested that, immediately after the working session, Pleiku Ward should proactively form a Construction Investment Project Management Board to manage land funds, site clearance and project establishment. With a new headquarters, new apparatus and innovative thinking, Pleiku Ward clearly determined that it must have new products that bring positive changes to the urban landscape, socio-economy and quality of life of the people.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the Party Committee, People's Committee of Pleiku ward and Pleiku ward police.
