Rapper Pjpo released the album “131km” as an NFT, a pioneering step in the music industry in Vietnam. In the first stage, the rapper launched the NFT collection Pjpo's People in the form of free mints. This is a PFP NFT (NFT avatar) set dedicated to Pjpo's fans and close friends.

32,000 Pjpo's People NFTs have been minted to the market

Pjpo's People collection reached over 32,000 NFTs minted to the market after only 2 weeks of free distribution. Tens of thousands of fans hand-designed their own avatars with their own personal style but still maintained the uniqueness of the community that loves rapper Pjpo.

Not only fans, artists in the Vietnamese rap world such as Datmaniac, MC ILL, LK, Jombie... also simultaneously changed their profile pictures to the Pjpo's People collection on social networks to accompany the campaign and affirm the influence that the project creates.

Stages of development of popular music

With NFT avatars, Pjpo can see who is supporting him and interact directly with each fan, something that is difficult for traditional fan communities to do. NFTs and blockchain technology are opening up opportunities to personalize experiences from sending thank you notes, gifts to invitations to exclusive activities only for fan ticket holders.

With the advent of NFT Albums, the experience of owning music has entered a whole new era. Each song in the album “131km” is released as an NFT, a unique digital asset with a unique identifier that verifies ownership transparently and securely on the blockchain. This allows fans to not only listen to music but also preserve, collect, and even trade tracks as valuable collectibles.
