The conference is a special event, held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of UNESCO (1945-2025), and at the same time towards the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's official accession to the organization (1976-2026); demonstrating Vietnam's strong commitment to preserving cultural and natural heritage and developing cultural industries in a sustainable manner.

In addition, through the presentations, delegates looked at and discussed current and strategic issues such as the role of UNESCO spirit in preserving cultural heritage, new opportunities for the creative cultural industry, as well as ways to make practical contributions to the implementation of the global Sustainable Development Goals.

At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Vietnam Education Publishing House represented Vietnam Education Publishing House to receive the Cultural Enterprise Certificate awarded by UNESCO.

During this working trip to Europe, Vietnam Education Publishing House also visited and worked at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France and through the Italian Embassy surveyed the Vietnamese language learning needs of overseas Vietnamese living in this country.
At the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France, the Vietnam Education Publishing House presented 250 preschool books and 20 sets of Hello Vietnamese books. At the same time, the Vietnam Education Publishing House also presented 20 sets of Hello Vietnamese books to the Vietnamese Embassy in the Republic of Italy.
It is known that in 2024, Vietnam Education Publishing House donated a Vietnamese bookcase to the Vietnamese community in Paris, and a small bookcase to the Vietnamese community in Bordeaux. A total of about 300 books. Over the years, Vietnam Education Publishing House has always had many positive activities in preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language, promoting cultural exchange for Vietnamese people abroad through the Vietnamese Bookcase model.
To date, 12 Bookcases have been built in 10 countries and territories. Specifically in Fukuoka (Japan), Budapest (Hungary), Taiwan (China), Paris, New Caledonia (France), Prague and Brno (Czech Republic), Melbourne (Australia), Thailand, Laos, Sweden, Belarus with many valuable books.
The Vietnamese Bookcase was honored to win the Second Prize of the 10th National Award for Foreign Information in 2024, jointly organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Steering Committee for Foreign Information Work, Vietnam Television and relevant agencies.
