Hanoi organizes a series of activities to promote cultural and historical tourism in 2025

In response to the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Hanoi Department of Tourism organizes a series of activities to promote cultural and historical tourism in Hanoi 2025.

The program is chaired by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in coordination with the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward, with the theme "Ba Dinh Red", taking place from August 30 to September 2 in the space of Truc Bach walking street and some nearby relic sites and experience areas such as: Quan Thanh Temple, Thuy Trung Tien Temple, An Tri Communal House, and the night food court of Dao Ngoc - Ngu Xa.

According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the event was organized to affirm the capital's position as a destination "Hanoi - Come to love", spread patriotism, arouse national pride, and introduce products and tours associated with the cultural and historical space of Ba Dinh district.

The opening ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025 at the main stage on Truc Bach walking street, with a special art program and a film screening promoting Hanoi's cultural and historical tourism.

The content includes a series of rich activities including: Activities with the theme "Heritage Road", visitors will visit and offer incense at Quan Thanh Temple, Thuy Trung Tien Temple, An Tri Communal House; experience unique booths and tours on Truc Bach Street and 4 2-storey tram cars of the Line 6 project with the theme "Pho Car, Subsidy Car, Rice Car, Tea - Coffee Car".

Hanoi Food Festival activities, recreating old culinary memories, exploring Ngu Xa - Ba Dinh culinary space and Vietnamese street food.

In addition, visitors can also watch art performances with ca tru performances at An Tri Temple, interactive street art on the evenings of August 31, September 1 and September 2.

The exhibition and experience space will introduce historical images of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; miniatures, photo areas, and unique booths.

In addition, visitors will be able to participate in activities at the "Independence Stations", such as the drinking water relay station, the national flag exchange station, the "Save Emotions" station to write or draw feelings about Independence - Freedom - Fatherland, along with the station to introduce and experience green tourism and digital tourism.

The event promises to create a joyful atmosphere, connect the community, and at the same time contribute to strongly promoting the image of Hanoi - a safe, friendly and unique destination.
