Many schools are recruiting hundreds of additional students with a common score of 15-18, this is an opportunity for candidates who were not admitted in the first round.

After announcing the benchmark scores, Hong Bang International University announced that it will accept additional applications until August 31 for all majors, except Medicine and Dentistry.

Accordingly, candidates can register for additional admission based on their high school graduation exam scores of 15-19 points, and their 12th grade transcripts if they score 18-20.5 points or higher. In addition, the school also accepts applications based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment test scores (from 600-675 points) and V-SAT test scores (from 200-250 points).

Vietnam Aviation Academy recruits 470 students for many majors, with most of them having a score of 18 or higher. In addition to meeting the criteria for each method, candidates applying for the English Language major must meet one of two additional conditions: a graduation exam score of 6 or higher in English or an IELTS score of 4.5. The deadline for receiving additional applications is 5:00 p.m. on August 28.

At Nguyen Tat Thanh University , all 73 majors are recruiting, including health training majors such as Medicine, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine, Pharmacy, Preventive Medicine, Nursing, Medical Testing Technology and Rehabilitation Technology. The score for receiving applications is equal to the first round's benchmark score, which is from 15 and up.

Candidates and parents can refer to information about schools with additional admissions in 2025 for a chance to be admitted.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, successful candidates must begin to confirm their admission online on the Ministry's system. If they do not confirm their admission, they will be considered to have given up their admission wishes and their results will be canceled.

Universities often have their own admission plans with different requirements, posted on their official websites, fanpages, or by email, phone number, notice... Many schools will have an additional online admission step on their system and welcome students directly afterwards.

Schools that do not have enough students can recruit additional students in multiple rounds, lasting until December. Candidates can register if they are not admitted or do not confirm their enrollment in any school. Candidates who have been admitted and confirmed their enrollment are not eligible for additional enrollment, except in cases where the head of the training institution allows them not to enroll.
