According to information from the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), this year's National Day holiday will be 4 days off, so the number of passengers passing through airports is expected to increase for 5 days (from August 29 to September 2). With the increasing travel demand of people, the entire airport system is expected to welcome about 11,000 takeoffs and landings, serving more than 1.8 million passengers.
Domestic exploitation output is about 7,000 take-offs and landings, with an average of 1,400 take-offs and landings/day (an increase of 7% compared to the average daily in August, an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2024), passenger output is expected to reach 1.1 million passengers, an average of 220,000 passengers/day (an increase of 5% compared to the average daily in August, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2024).
The peak day is expected to be August 29 with 1,450 takeoffs and landings and 230,000 passengers.

Meanwhile, international operations also reached a record level, with an expected 4,000 takeoffs and landings, an average of 800 takeoffs and landings/day (an increase of 1-2% compared to the average daily rate in August, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2024), and an expected passenger volume of 750,000 people, an average of 150,000 passengers/day (an increase of 2-3% compared to the average daily rate in August, an increase of 20% compared to the same period in 2024).
International exploitation output mainly focuses on airports: Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang , Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc.
At Tan Son Nhat, there are about 125,000 passengers per day (75,000 domestic passengers and 50,000 international passengers). On August 30 and September 2, there could be up to 750 flights and 130,000 passengers. The airport has now completed the transition of domestic flights to Passenger Terminal T3.
At Noi Bai, the number of international visitors is growing strongly, reaching nearly 44,000 people on some peak days, setting an all-time record. The number of domestic visitors is also expected to increase sharply due to the attractiveness of the A80 series of events. On peak days, Noi Bai will serve about 110,000 passengers and 638 flights, about 20% higher than the same period in 2024.
