VN-Index continues to increase thanks to strong cash flow into securities group

The stock market fluctuated strongly in the trading session on August 29. At one point, the VN-Index rose to 1,694 points, but the increase was limited due to the price decrease of some pillar stocks. Thanks to the efforts of the banking and securities groups, the VN-Index still ended the session in the green. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 1.35 points to 1,682.21 points.

Market liquidity increased compared to yesterday's session, with total trading volume on the three exchanges reaching more than 1,765 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND49,296 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 exchanges with more than 3,563 billion VND, focusing on codes MBB (434.68 billion VND), HPG (373.81 billion VND),FPT (355.78 billion VND), SSI (338.06 billion VND), VIX (337.55 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included GMD (128.38 billion VND), VCI (98.8 billion VND), VCB (83.14 billion VND), SHS (77.98 billion VND), VND (48.94 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 43,178 billion VND.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increased by more than 6.92 points include: VPB, HDB, MBB, HPG, VND, BID,SHB , VIB, STB, VCI.

On the contrary, the stocks that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 6.04 points included: VIC, FPT, VCB, GAS, BSR , CTG, VNM, BVH, GEX, VIX.

In terms of industry groups, this session, software stocks were in the red, down 2.69%, mainly from FPT, CMG, ELC, HPT, SBD, CMT... Some stocks increased including ITD, PIA...

The group of securities stocks performed positively, increasing by 2.24%, mainly from codes SSI, VND, VCI, SHS, MBS, HCM, FTS, FUEVFVND, BSI, DSE, CTS... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included VIX, AAS, VUA...

The majority of banking stocks in this session were green, with an increase of 0.72%, mainly from codes BID, VPB, MBB, ACB, LPB, HDB, STB, VIB, SHB, TPB... A few codes decreased including VCB, CTG, SSB, BAB, TIN...

The real estate stocks group this session recorded a decrease of 0.52%, mainly from codes VIC, VHM, BCM, VRE, KBC, DXG, VPI, NLG, TCH, SIP, VCR, SZC... On the contrary, the codes that increased included KDH, SSH, NVL, PDR, SJS, DIG, IDC, CEO, DXS...

Energy stocks traded mainly in red and closed down 0.94%, mainly from codes BSR, PLX, PVS, PVD, PVC, GSP, CST, PVB, COM... Some codes increased including OIL, PVP, VTO, VIP, CLM, CCI, VTV...

The group of raw material stocks this session recorded an increase of 0.51%, mainly from codes HPG, MSR, DCM, DPM, NKG, HT1, TVN, DHC, BFC, VFG, DHB, PAT, PLC... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included GVR, DGC, KSV, NTP, VCS, PHR, VIF, ACG, DDV, CSV, HGM...

Insurance stocks in this session were mostly red, up 0.91%, mainly from BVH codes... Some codes that increased include BIC, MIG, PTI, BMI, PGI, ABI, BLI...

Retail stocks this session leaned towards green, up 0.46%, mainly from codes MWG, PET, HTM, CTF, SVC, PEG, PSD, TSC, C69, STH, PNC... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included FRT, DGW, HHS, SHN, VVS...

* The Vietnamese stock market index closed in the green today, VNXALL-Index closed up 11.45 points (+0.4%), to 2,907.24 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 1,569.18 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 46,307.51 billion. In the whole market, there were 203 stocks increasing in price, 86 stocks remaining unchanged and 173 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 279.98 points, up 3.35 points (+1.21%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 146.14 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND3,219.85 billion. In the whole market, 86 stocks increased in price, 74 stocks remained unchanged and 70 stocks decreased in price.

The HNX30 index closed up 9.21 points (+1.51%) to 619.65 points. Trading volume reached over 87.37 million units, equivalent to over VND2,540.99 billion. In the whole market, there were 15 stocks increasing in price, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 11 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 111 points, up 0.38 points (+0.34%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 96.68 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over VND 1,106.65 billion. In the whole market, there were 203 stocks increasing in price, 138 stocks remaining unchanged and 102 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 1.35 points (+0.08%), to 1,682.21 points. Liquidity reached over 1,522.6 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND44,970.46 billion. The entire floor had 172 stocks increasing, 56 stocks remaining unchanged and 149 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 4.18 points (+0.22%) and stopped at 1,865.38 points. Liquidity reached more than 679.18 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 23,493.06 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 13 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 124.63 million units), HPG (over 81.73 million units), VND (over 75.93 million units), VPB (over 65.83 million units), MBB (over 55.71 million units).

The 5 stocks with the highest price increase are DSE (+6.95%), JVC (+6.95%), AGR (+6.94%), BCG (+6.93%), VND (+6.9%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price decrease were STG (-6.93%), SCS (-5.66%), COM (-5.31%), TNT (-5.19%), HNA (-3.84%).
