Female student from "village school" wins scholarship to Specialized Language School
Pham Tra My is among the top students who passed the entrance exam for the English major at the Foreign Language High School ( Hanoi National University). She will receive a partial scholarship from the school after enrolling. This is also the high school that Tra My has chosen to attend.
In addition, I also passed the entrance exam to 2 other specialized schools: English major of the University of Education High School for the Gifted; Math and English major of Son Tay High School for the Gifted.
Tra My's total admission score in the public 10th grade entrance exam was 28.75 points; specifically: literature 8.5 points; math 9.75 points; English 10 points; encouragement score 0.5 points.

Throughout her education from primary school to secondary school, Tra My has always been an excellent student. There were years when she was recognized as an outstanding student of the capital.
Sharing about her studies, Tra My said that she mainly studies by herself, searching for specialized exam questions online to practice her test-taking skills. During the practice test, she focuses on summarizing the knowledge she has not yet mastered, the mistakes, or the incorrect presentation, which can cause her to lose points.
Less extra classes, prefer to take advantage of artificial intelligence
Tra My rarely attends extra classes, only during the peak review period will she attend "crash" classes. Tra My said she likes to self-study and likes to take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) applications to personalize her learning experience.
Tra My often uses free artificial intelligence applications to query the knowledge she is trying to dig deeper into. Many times, the application also gives wrong answers. However, for Tra My, this is not a concern.
According to the female student, if the learner has mastered the basic knowledge, mistakes will be quickly discovered during the learning process. This is an opportunity for the learner to "question" the AI, forcing the AI to admit its mistakes.

What makes Tra My feel excited about the process of self-studying with AI is that AI can give suggestions on the areas of knowledge that she should delve deeper into, as well as suggest reference sources that can effectively support her. AI... is tireless, so it is always enthusiastic in answering all of Tra My's questions.
Tra My considers herself to be a person who can handle pressure well. Although there were times when she felt stressed before an important transfer exam, she reminded herself that there were millions of other students who were experiencing the same pressure as her. After that, she no longer felt alone in facing the problem, but instead remained calm to continue trying and practicing.
According to Tra My, her biggest pressure is peer pressure. Although she is an outstanding student at Co Dong Secondary School, Tra My knows that out there, there are many students who are better than her.
At school, I also know many talented, interesting, and admirable friends. Therefore, Tra My has the pressure to catch up with her friends, to be both good at studying and interesting, convincing, and attractive to them. I don't want to be a “bookworm who only knows how to study”.
During the process of studying and training, Tra My told herself that she needed to find her own unique features and personality to become a unique individual.
Knowledge is the shortest path to success.
Tra My believes that there are many paths to success, but for her personally, knowledge is the shortest, most effective and seems... "easiest" path to establishing herself and her career in the long term.
Every day, I diligently study by myself and approach new knowledge. Tra My believes that every day she needs to absorb at least one new knowledge. Every time she learns a new knowledge or solves a difficult problem, she feels happy. For her, studying brings simple joy every day.
Before entering grade 9, Tra My knew that this school year would have many challenges to overcome, especially the very important transition exam. She told herself to take care of her health and balance her mind to withstand the pressure of studying and taking exams. Although she studied quite a lot on her own, Tra My did not let herself fall into a state of exhaustion or depression due to being overloaded.

I trained myself mentally through tests at school, as well as pretend to take the test when practicing at home. By doing this, I gradually helped myself practice being mentally stable, reducing the pressure during the real test.
For Tra My, scores, achievements and exams say a lot. The results often reflect the student's learning journey. Therefore, she always sees positive meanings in scores and exams.
Tra My is good at all subjects. She has a special love for learning foreign languages and only took the math exam "for fun", but she still passed. This result makes Tra My and her family very proud, but she tells herself not to be arrogant or conceited. Observing the friends around her, she always sees things worth learning, interesting talents that she does not have.
Currently, Tra My's hobby is learning foreign languages, she wants to know many foreign languages. When she has time, Tra My studies Chinese and Korean by herself. She also focuses on practicing soft skills such as presentation skills, critical thinking... All of which she researches and studies herself through content available online.
At school, teachers commented that Tra My is an active student in artistic and group activities. She has the strength of being talkative and is a very good MC.
During her high school years, Tra My set goals to study well, practice many new skills, expand her circle of friends, and become a happy, active, and progressive high school girl...
Homeroom teacher: "It's been nearly ten years since I've met a student like Tra My."
Homeroom teacher Le Thi Ngoc Ha - a literature teacher at Co Dong Secondary School - has accompanied Tra My since grade 6. Ms. Ngoc Ha said that Tra My is a special student, leaving her with deep memories and emotions. In her many years of teaching, Ms. Ha estimated that it was only in the last 10 years that she met a special student like Tra My.

I am a good student, good at all subjects, always proactive in studying, always have a good mindset when studying, and have an enthusiastic learning attitude.
Although Tra My has a better grasp of knowledge than her friends, she never has a negligent, subjective, or unimmodest attitude in class. Even when the teacher assigns her to stand up and give a lecture to her friends during self-study time, Tra My always undertakes the task with the most modest and friendly attitude.
According to Ms. Ngoc Ha, the special thing about Tra My is her ability to self-study and organize her time scientifically , to do many things at the same time. She has a sense of self-awareness in studying, a spirit of learning and progress. This helps her always be in the group of outstanding students of the school.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Tra My's mother - said that her daughter's 10th grade entrance exam results surprised the whole family. They already knew that their daughter was studious and good at studying, but they did not expect her to... achieve such good results.
Up to this point, when receiving all the results of her child's 10th grade entrance exam, Ms. Thu Ha was both proud and confused to admit that perhaps she and her husband still did not fully understand... their child's abilities.
