Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi My Phuong is the person who directly advised on the establishment and management of two provincial-level models: "Community Reintegration Development Fund" and "Rehabilitated Persons Club". Lieutenant Colonel Thai Tu Hai - Deputy Head of the Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support Police Department, Dong Thap Provincial Police commented: "Comrade My Phuong has proactively learned, researched, and boldly proposed to the Board of Directors initiatives and good practices in implementing community reintegration work such as: advising on the development of software to manage the Community Reintegration Development Fund, innovating propaganda forms through social networks, documents, and leaflets on community reintegration, bringing community reintegration work closer to the people in a more intuitive and familiar way".

Our ancestors have a saying: "Hit the one who runs away, no one hits the one who runs back". Every mistake needs tolerance and forgiveness to awaken conscience. Therefore, the "Community Reintegration Development Fund" has been supported by the local government with a budget of 15 billion VND to provide timely support to people with criminal pasts who know how to repent and work hard to improve their lives. Over the past 10 years, the Fund has helped 955 people get loans with an amount of nearly 31 billion VND, including 51 women who have reformed. Such practical support not only helps them stabilize their lives but also contributes to maintaining security and order in the locality with the annual recidivism rate always low at below 3%. Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Hanh, reflecting in Ward 2, Sa Dec City (now Sa Dec Ward), who received a loan from the Community Reintegration Development Fund, shared: "My life is very stable now. I sincerely thank Ms. Phuong and the local government for creating conditions for me to borrow capital to develop my family's economy and rebuild my life."

Implementing the policy of arranging regular police officers to take on the positions of commune police, in recent years, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi My Phuong has always accompanied the commune, ward and town police to build the model of "Reformed People's Club", guide the loan process in the "Community Reintegration Development Fund" and regularly go to the locality, visit people's homes, listen to their thoughts and wishes and encourage those who receive loans to work hard.

21 years in the profession, experiencing many difficulties, but she still firmly moves forward with constant efforts. Not only is she good at her profession, she also pays special attention to reintegrating women - the most vulnerable group. From there, she boldly advised the Party Committee and unit leaders to build the model "Supporting reformed women to reintegrate into the community" and "Supporting outstanding reformed youth to reintegrate into the community", coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to help 80 women and 6 youths get loans with a total amount of more than 2.6 billion VND.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi My Phuong was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, 4 Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Public Security , 4 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for her outstanding achievements in the fight against crime and community reintegration; was awarded the Medal for Women's Development by the Provincial Women's Union, and the Outstanding Women Award in 2024 by the Ministry of Public Security.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi My Phuong shared: "I have determined that no matter what job I do, there will be difficulties, so I have to try to overcome them and do my job with a high sense of responsibility. As a woman, in addition to performing professional duties, I also have the responsibility of raising children and taking care of my family, so I have arranged my time scientifically and most reasonably to both complete my professional work well and fulfill my responsibilities as a wife and mother in the family."

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi My Phuong is also a flame that inspires many women about tolerance, patience, equality and love in life.
