The project to grow Tho Hao ginseng was implemented by the Department of Science and Technology in coordination with the Farmers' Association of Thanh Chuong district from 2021 and expanded the model of growing this type of ginseng in the lower part of Thanh Chuong district. This type of ginseng can be processed into many products such as dried ginseng, ginseng powder, ginseng tea, ginseng cereal, sliced ​​ginseng, ginseng wine... Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ly - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tho Hao ginseng cooperative in Thanh Ha commune said: This ginseng crop, the cooperative planted 5 hectares. The well-cared ginseng plots yielded about 3 tons of tubers/ha. Fresh ginseng after harvest was purchased by individuals and businesses at a price of 200,000 - 500,000 VND/kg, depending on the type.
