On September 3, Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School (Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) held the inauguration ceremony of a digital citizenship skills classroom. Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training: Ensuring all city students have access to digital citizenship skills education

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City had a plan to implement the digital competency framework (NLS) for high school and vocational education students in the city. According to the Department of Education and Training, the implementation of the NLS framework must meet international standards but still be suitable for the actual conditions of Vietnam. The implementation process has a synchronous roadmap, ensuring feasibility and not causing overload. The content and activities of developing the NLS must be designed to suit the psychology of the age, needs and ability to access technology of students at each level of education, maximizing available resources and facilities, and investing in effective equipment. Ensuring that all students in the city have the opportunity to access digital citizenship skills education.

The Department of Education and Training prescribes the forms of implementing the NLS framework for students, including: Teaching information technology in the 2018 General Education Program, integrating NLS development in teaching subjects, educational activities, organizing enhanced teaching and learning, and clubs implementing NLS development.
