Nguyen Phan Manh Duy, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, passed away at 6:06 p.m. on October 21, at the age of 36.
According to a statement from the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, he died after being hospitalized for several days and was found to have respiratory infection.

As a core member of the Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Choir, he has left many marks and contributions in his performing arts career through concerts and plays such as: "The Funny Widow", "The Adventures of a Cricket"...
Most recently, he participated in the opera "Footprints of Time". He is loved by teachers, colleagues and friends for his friendly, cheerful personality, dedication to work and always helping people around him.
"Nguyen Phan Manh Duy's passing is a great loss to his family in particular and the Opera and Ballet Symphony Orchestra in general! We would like to send our deepest condolences to his family and music lovers," the statement said.
The visitation and memorial service for Nguyen Phan Manh Duy will be held at: Chi Lang Parish Church - No. 39 Ngo Van So, Ward 9, Da Lat City. After that, the coffin will be cremated at Dai Hoan Vu, Da Lat City.
