>>> Readers are invited to watch the video of the female suspect arrested by the FSB while planting a car bomb in St. Petersburg.
RT reported on July 3 that the FSB said the woman was caught red-handed planting a bomb under her car in St. Petersburg. The suspect allegedly worked for Ukrainian intelligence and targeted a Russian defense industry employee.
"The FSB has detained a Russian citizen, born in 2002, while he was placing an improvised explosive device under the car of the intended target. He acted on instructions from the Ukrainian special services," the FSB said in a statement.

Video footage of the incident shows the woman walking with her phone in her hand, then placing an unidentified package under the Mercedes SUV.
After being arrested, the female suspect claimed that she was only assigned to monitor the car, but later admitted to trying to plant a device under the car.
In April 2025, the female suspect allegedly traveled to St. Petersburg to stalk an unnamed Russian defense industry employee, planning to blow up the employee's car with an improvised explosive device.
Earlier, in December 2024, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of Russia's Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, was killed in Moscow by a bomb attached to a scooter. Kiev later claimed responsibility for the assassination.
