Leaving to return, the brothers of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu return to the same roof, join hands to build and paint new colors for Ca Mau - the southernmost tip of the Fatherland.
Blending the nuances of two hometowns
“I came to your hometown, the sea land of Ca Mau / I saw the green mangrove forests, the vastness / The Tam Giang River, the sunshine, carried me / I came back to visit my distant homeland, Dat Mui / The blue sky of Nam Can, the wind blowing on all sides”... When writing “Dat Mui Ca Mau” , musician Hoang Hiep must have deeply absorbed the pristine beauty of this place. Ca Mau, seen on the map of the country, looks like a vast green dot with mangroves stretching out to the sea, green cajuput forests with strong winds and immense river branches with vast waves.
Not only is the youngest brother attractive because of its natural beauty, but in the process of construction and development, Ca Mau also leaves its mark with many historical and cultural relics marking the heroic struggles of the army and people here. These include: Vam Lung Wharf, Hon Khoai Uprising Monument, The Northern Gathering Train Monument, The National Security Protection Monument... Remembering the southernmost tip of the country, one still loves the rustic, simple, generous and hospitable features of the extremely lovely Ca Mau people. With the convergence of "heavenly time, favorable terrain and harmony of people", Ca Mau is likened to a harmonious picture of nature, culture, land and people.
“Partnering” with Ca Mau is the unique feature of the brother of Bac Lieu. The tourism and cultural potentials have been promoted by the land of the Prince Bac Lieu to gather friends from far and wide. These are cultural works that have been invested in and increasingly affirmed their unique features, creating a tourism brand in the region and the whole country. As one of many typical works invested in and built on the occasion of the first National Don Ca Tai Tu Festival in Bac Lieu in 2014, the Ba Non La Theater was voted in the “Top 7 unique architectural works”, “1 of 5 theaters with unique architecture in Vietnam”. The stylized Kim instrument in the middle of Hung Vuong Square built at the same time is also considered a cultural symbol of Bac Lieu, representing the common pride of 21 provinces and cities in the South about an intangible cultural heritage of humanity - the art of Don Ca Tai Tu in the South. Both projects were recognized by VietKing as the largest in the country right after their formation.

The land of Bac Lieu Prince, the birthplace of the song Da Co Hoai Lang, also has Uncle Ho Temple, the Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Site, Noc Nang Relic Site, Giong Bom Relic Site, Vinh Hung Ancient Tower, the Southern Amateur Music Art Relic Site and Musician Cao Van Lau... All of them contribute new colors to Ca Mau in its new shirt tomorrow.
Our hometown Ca Mau
If in the previous picture of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu , each side made efforts to promote its own cultural values to create its own highlights, then when returning home, those individual strengths blend together, joining forces to create a radiant homeland of Ca Mau in the near future. Ca Mau - Bac Lieu in its new coat, Ca Mau is spreading out its spacious paths to welcome visitors.
The tourism resources of the two places, "your hometown, my hometown", now become "our hometown" with that common and unique nuance, promising to open up a unique space at the southern end of the country.

Coming to Dat Mui, spreading your arms to catch the wind, checking in at the national coordinate landmark to "show off" to everyone that you have set foot on the end of the Fatherland, you must definitely have more sparkling photos with the sunset on the Bac Lieu wind power field, or welcome the dawn very early on the white salt fields of this land. Visiting Hon Khoai Island to remember the heroic uprising of teacher Phan Ngoc Hien in the history of the struggle against French colonialism, you must stop by the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Base - a special national relic site with historical stories associated with the indomitable will and bravery of the revolutionary leaders of the past. That will be more complete for a journey to the source of learning history. Or stop to burn incense at Uncle Ho's Temple (Vinh Loi District, old Bac Lieu Province), listen to the story of the soldiers and civilians who shed blood and were determined to protect the place of worship of Uncle Ho, then you should extend your journey to the Vam Lung Wharf (Ngoc Hien District, old Ca Mau Province), one of the important historical sites of Vietnam, a wharf on the "Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea" - the legendary route for transporting weapons, food and necessities from the North to the South during the resistance war to save the country.
The historical and cultural relics of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu are not only unique architectural works, but also vivid evidence of the heroic fighting tradition, and at the same time, they are also the convergence of cultural values unique to the Ca Mau peninsula. The culture, people and history of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu will certainly bring interesting experiences to domestic and foreign friends when the public and the private come together and elevate each other.
“Someday, when Ca Mau grows up, even though it is the youngest, it will be more beautiful”... It seems that it is not tomorrow anymore, but Ca Mau is really growing and promises to have many more successes in the very near future - when the convergence of cultural identity, economic synergy and especially the consensus between the Party's will and the people's heart of the brothers who used to be "one family" return to their warm home: Ca Mau!
