Particularly in the last term (2019 - 2025), despite facing many difficulties due to the negative impact of the Covid - 19 pandemic, Binh Thuan Business Association still maintains its operations and completed its assigned tasks. It is notable that the Association has played a good role as a bridge between the business community and provincial leaders and functional departments through timely implementation of the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the "Meeting and working with businesses and investors to remove difficulties and obstacles in production, business and investment" session taking place monthly. On the other hand, it also paid attention to making recommendations to solve difficulties in transporting and circulating goods, supporting debt extension, tax exemptions or loan support, reducing bank interest rates for member businesses.
Every year, the Association also coordinates with the State Bank of Vietnam - Binh Thuan Branch (now the State Bank of Region 10) to organize 1-2 conferences connecting banks and businesses on increasing access to bank credit capital to "Sharing together - Accompanying together - Succeeding together". Or organizing for member businesses to participate in the conference to sign the Cooperation Program between the Association of Enterprises of 18 provinces and cities in the South and the Central Highlands. At the same time, it acts as a focal point, coordinated with the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA) in providing information to businesses having investment and trade relations with Korean businesses according to the tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee. It also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Vietnam International Arbitration Center to provide legal support, resolve complaints and disputes for businesses in business. Coordinate with the local Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and related units to promote the implementation of many training courses and human resource development for enterprises according to the Government's Decree...
Affirming the role of a bridge through the implementation of tasks has also created conditions for the Binh Thuan Business Association to attract and admit 55 new members in the last term (reaching 127% of the set target). Up to now, the total number of members participating in the "common house" of businesses has increased to 123 members, including 1 organizational member, the Binh Thuan Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association with 53 members... Along with the growth of the Association, charitable activities, contributing to the implementation of social security policies in the locality have always been actively responding to and participating in by member businesses. According to incomplete data in this term, the Association's members contributed to funds (For the poor, Gratitude, Education Promotion, Helping Agent Orange victims...) with an amount of nearly 50 billion VND.
Recently, the 5th Congress of Binh Thuan Provincial Business Association, term 2025 - 2030 took place right before the merger into the new Lam Dong province. structured, the implementation of the representative role, the bridge between the business community and the State agencies continues to be identified as a key task in the coming period. In particular, proactively meet with relevant agencies of the province to convey the opinions and aspirations of the business community to the State, or participate in giving opinions on the construction of mechanisms and policies to create an increasingly favorable environment for business development... Along with that, we will be determined to implement "Innovation - Development - Cooperation - Prosperity", taking advantage of opportunities to join hands to build a strong Association, meeting the requirements of representing the aspirations and legitimate and legal interests of members and the local business community.
