Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien works with SCAVI Group

This morning, July 8, in Dong Ha ward, Quang Tri province, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien had a working session with the delegation of SCAVI Group led by Chairman and Founder of B'Lao - SCAVI Group Tran Van Phu.

At the meeting, B'Lao - SCAVI Group proposed its desire to find a location in the Central region to expand its factory to international standards. From there, it continued to call for the establishment of a textile and garment supporting industrial park specializing in lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear with the immediate goal of calling on strategic suppliers of the textile and garment supporting industry to operate. At the same time, it is expected to bring socio-economic benefits to the locality.

SCAVI is an industrial hub owned by B'Lao Group, with 20,000 employees worldwide . SCAVI had the first Foreign Direct Investment License (FDI No. 1 - all industries - in Vietnam) in 1988 and is a leading company in global outsourcing services for underwear, swimwear, sportswear, and protective clothing in Vietnam.

The Group's representative also expressed his hope that Quang Tri province would create favorable conditions for the construction of a factory in the province to take advantage of the province's abundant human resources. When the factory is built in Quang Tri, it will form a chain system in the Central region.

At the same time, we hope that the province will support in speeding up the process of granting investment licenses; ensure infrastructure, human resources... to create favorable conditions not only for Scavi but also for other investors.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien provided more information about the situation and advantages that Quang Tri province has and welcomed investors to Quang Tri to explore investment opportunities.

Provincial leaders always hope to receive green, environmentally friendly projects that can effectively utilize the abundant labor resources in the locality. The Group's investment ideas are in line with the local development strategy.

Besides, Quang Tri always considers the development of enterprises as the development of the province, so it will always accompany enterprises.
