The archaeological exploration and excavation was carried out in the land area between Tower K and the central tower group of My Son Temple Complex (Duy Phu commune, Duy Xuyen district before, now Thu Bon commune, Da Nang city), from July to November 30, 2025.

The area of exploration and excavation permitted by the decision is 770m2. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recommends that during the period of archaeological exploration and excavation, the licensed agencies should pay attention to protecting the stratigraphy of the relic; be responsible for disseminating information to the people about the protection of local cultural heritage, and not announce official conclusions without the agreement of the competent agency and the Department of Cultural Heritage.

Regarding the artifacts collected during the archaeological exploration and excavation process, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism be responsible for preserving and protecting the artifacts, avoiding damage or loss; and report to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on a plan to protect and promote the value of those artifacts.
