Bringing together more than 200 artists, the program aims to honor the monumental compositional career and timeless musical legacy of one of the giants of modern Vietnamese music.

For the Future will feature many famous singers, professional orchestras and choirs, along with the late musician's students and close associates. In particular, many instrumental works, symphonies, suites, and children's choirs, which have been absent for many years, will be restored and performed with original harmonies from the family archives.

The program is designed as a symphony named Hoang Van, consisting of two chapters: Remembrance and For the Future , recalling his artistic journey associated with the country, the people and aspirations for the future. This is a rare opportunity for the public to enjoy his scholarly compositions, a little-known area besides famous songs such as Ho keo Phao, Quang Binh que ta oi, Bai ca nguoi giao vien dan...

The highlight of the night was the ceremony to award the UNESCO World Documentary Heritage certificate to the collection of manuscripts, prints, and music documents of musician Hoang Van, marking the first time a modern Vietnamese musical heritage has been honored at the world level.

The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the country's major holidays in 2025: 80th National Day, 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security sector, 50th anniversary of national reunification, 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
