More than 120 technology businesses converge, creating the digital future at iTech Expo 2025

On July 9, the Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology Association (HCA) and related units officially opened the iTech Expo 2025 International Technology Fair and Exhibition with the theme "New Tech Empower iFuture".

The event, which takes place over 3 days (from July 9-11), promises to create an innovative and creative technology ecosystem with high applicability, thereby promoting cooperation and trade opportunities to accompany the Ho Chi Minh City government and businesses on the journey of digital transformation in the new era.

In his opening speech, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of HCA said: “iTech Expo 2025 has improved in quality compared to last year. The event brings together more than 120 domestic and foreign technology enterprises, displaying core technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data, interactive technologies such as robots, drones, holoboxes and specialized application solutions in education, agriculture , finance... with an exhibition space of nearly 4,000 m2, expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors and over 1,000 business connections”.

Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long also said that iTech Expo 2025 is not only a space for displaying technology but also a forum for sharing in-depth knowledge. The event brings together more than 50 experts from global technology corporations such as Dell Technologies, AWS, NVIDIA, Intel, Logitech, Ennoconn and leading Vietnamese enterprises such as VNPT, VIETTEL, CMC Telecom, DigiEx... with 7 specialized seminars organized by HCA and partners. The selected topics are all related to practical problems in many fields such as education, agriculture, tourism, SME enterprises and cyber security.

“Another highlight of this year’s iTech Expo is the launch of the trade management application. This digital platform helps businesses, visitors and partners easily track appointments, manage contact information, and continue to connect and promote cooperation even after the event has ended. This demonstrates the organizers’ commitment to continuously improving user experience, creating an open trade ecosystem, helping buyers and sellers build trust and long-term cooperation. In particular, businesses are also allowed to sell products directly at the booth, creating more convenience for business activities,” Mr. Long added.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lam Dinh Thang, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, affirmed the importance of the event in the current context. “In the context that Ho Chi Minh City is implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, which identifies the role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as increasingly key in enhancing competitiveness, developing the socio-economy and building the foundation for a sustainable future. iTech Expo 2025 with the theme "New Tech Empower iFuture" is a vivid demonstration of Ho Chi Minh City demonstrating the spirit of pioneering, connecting and creating,” said Mr. Lam Dinh Thang.

Mr. Thang also emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City is honored and proactive in promoting its leading role, creating favorable conditions and connecting resources to form a strong innovative technology ecosystem. He also expressed his appreciation for the organizing units and the technology business community that have joined hands to create a widespread, practical and highly effective event like iTech Expo 2025.

At this year's exhibition, the organizers, together with the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, have organized a separate digital transformation consulting area for 168 wards and communes in the city and neighboring provinces and cities. This is a place for wards and communes to directly meet, exchange and seek technological solutions in 5 key areas: public administration, local economy, urban - environment, education - health and agriculture - rural development. This activity contributes to improving management efficiency, helping ward and commune authorities choose appropriate technological solutions to better serve people and businesses, while promoting the comprehensive digital transformation process in localities.
