Vietnam's U19 women's team has passed the group stage with a perfect record of victories against Myanmar, Laos, Timor Leste, scoring 16 goals to win the top spot in Group A. Coach Okiyama Masahiko and his team will face U19 Indonesia in the second semi-final of the U19 women's Southeast Asia.
Before the semi-final, the coaches of both teams shared their thoughts before the semi-final match. The coach of the Vietnam U19 women's team, Okiyama Masahiko, commented on the match: "In the semi-final match, the opponent has a large body, good speed and a specific playing style. We have to analyze and prepare a very careful plan for this match.
After 3 group stage matches, the team has achieved most of their plans. They scored 16 goals and did not concede any goals, but they are still limited in creating many scoring opportunities but have not yet taken advantage of them effectively. I am improving my players' finishing and scoring skills."
