The Vietnam Association for the Development of Cultural Industries was established under Decision No. 541/QD-BNV dated May 30, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs , as a socio-professional organization operating nationwide, gathering individuals and organizations operating in the fields of culture, creativity, technology, education, business, investment... to connect resources, promote policies, develop the market and ecosystem of Vietnam's cultural industry.
The establishment of the Association is a historical milestone, not only for those working in the field of culture and arts, but also for the whole society when culture is placed in its rightful role as a pillar: both the spiritual foundation of the nation and an endogenous resource for sustainable socio -economic development.
Deputy Director of the Department of Non -Governmental Organizations (Ministry of Home Affairs) Pham Thu Hang presented the Decision to establish the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Association to Mr. Vuong Duy Bien, Chairman of the Association.
The first Congress of the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Association was attended by representatives of central and local ministries, branches, international organizations, universities, research institutes, and many artists, businesses, and organizations operating in the fields of culture, creativity, media, and technology.
At the Congress, the Association officially approved the Charter and elected an Executive Committee of 46 members. At the same time, the Congress also elected key leadership positions for the 2025-2030 term, in which People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien was elected as President of the Association.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Cultural Industry Association, People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, shared: Vietnam's cultural industry has yet to fully exploit its potential due to the lack of a complete legal framework, high-quality human resources, investment capital and effective communication strategy. Therefore, the establishment of the Vietnam Cultural Industry Development Association is expected to create a breakthrough, connecting socialized resources to promote the development of cultural industries.
The Vietnam Association for the Development of Cultural Industries was established with the aim of promoting the development of cultural industries to become a key economic sector, associated with the preservation and promotion of national cultural values; Building a healthy creative environment, respecting intellectual property rights, nurturing talents and encouraging innovation in the fields of cultural industries; Connecting organizations, individuals and businesses in the industry to enhance cooperation, share resources, support product and market development.
