Ensure student rights
Speaking tothe Education and Times Newspaper, teacher Phan Lac Duong - Principal of Bat Bat High School said that for the 2025-2026 school year, the school was assigned 450 quotas for 10 classes. According to the latest data from the Admissions Council, the number of students confirming their enrollment both online and in person has quickly exceeded the threshold with a total of 561 applications.
This is the first time the school has encountered a situation where it has exceeded its quota with such a large number of students. The Admissions Council has worked continuously, urgently, and wholeheartedly to support students and parents to understand the admission method, the registration process, as well as advise on the expected choice of subjects according to future career orientation.
"Many students have submitted their admission applications right after registering for admission confirmation, showing great trust in the school. We will report to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for consideration and permission to open 2-3 new classes to accommodate enough students who have been admitted and confirmed for admission, ensuring their rights," Principal Phan Lac Duong informed.
This year, the number of students confirming their admission according to their second and third choices has increased dramatically with about 250 students. In particular, there are students coming from very far away areas such as Long Bien, Gia Lam, Tu Liem, Hoai Duc, Phuc Tho, Son Tay. Many families have proactively researched and rented accommodation near the school to create favorable conditions for their children's study.
Many candidates got high scores
Ms. Tran Thu Hang, a parent from Dai Mo ward, said: “My family chose Bat Bat High School because of its prestigious training, dedicated teachers, and friendly, ideal learning environment. The school campus is green and airy, and the classrooms are spacious and clean, creating a sense of security for parents when sending their children to school."
As one of three candidates who passed the first choice exam to Bat Bat High School with the highest score of 25 points, Le Minh Phuc from Son Da Secondary School expressed his joy and excitement when achieving the impressive result in the exam. The male student will continue to try to study and practice to acquire knowledge and skills to surpass himself.
Phuc confided that he has two older sisters who also study here with very good results. The school has many students who are admitted to top universities in the country, many of whom have won city-level excellent student awards, demonstrating the quality of the school's education. The school also organizes many clubs and extracurricular activities for students to develop themselves.
In the 2025 admissions, Bat Bat High School had many students passing their first choice with high scores. Among them were: Le Minh Phuc, Dao Nguyen Quoc, Do Nhu Quynh all scored 25 points; Bui Minh Hieu and Chu Thi Thu Thuy scored 24.5 points; Duong Thao Ly scored 24.25 points; Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong with 24 points; Phan Tung Duong, Nguyen Anh Huy, Vu Thi Hong Ngoc all scored 23.75 points...
According to regulations of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the admission score for non-specialized grade 10 in 2025 is the total score of three subjects: Literature, Math and Foreign Language without coefficient, maximum 30 points. For specialized schools, this is the total of three subjects plus the specialized subject score multiplied by coefficient 2. The exam is assessed to be close to the new requirements, not too challenging but still ensuring classification. This will be a good premise for Hanoi to continue to successfully organize the exam in the following years.
