The conference was attended by nearly 30 delegates who are commune-level Youth Union officials, teachers and collaborators who have directly implemented mine riskeducation activities in the community over the past year. The delegates reviewed the results, drew practical lessons, and discussed new challenges and opportunities after Quang Tri province completed the merger of administrative units, moving to a two-level management model: province and commune.

Opinions agree that: Merging administrative units is not only an adjustment of boundaries, but also requires adaptation in coordination methods, community outreach and effective maintenance of local mine risk education networks.
According to the report at the Conference, in the period of 2024-2025, Project RENEW and partners in Quang Tri and Quang Ngai (formerly) organized 244 mine risk education communication activities with many flexible forms, reaching 35,631 people, including many children and people living in areas that were contaminated with mines.
Many suggestions were made to improve the effectiveness of the program in the future. Ideas focused on strengthening the community reporting network, increasing interaction with young people, and more effective coordination with local authorities in the new organizational structure.
Project RENEW thanks the Irish Embassy - the main sponsor of the program - for its support and acknowledges the spirit of responsible cooperation of the Youth Union system at the grassroots level. Based on the solid foundation of cooperation, RENEW commits to continue to accompany local partners, contributing to building a safer environment for children and communities in Quang Tri and the Central provinces of Vietnam.
