Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, chaired the conference.
This conference focused on studying, discussing, agreeing and organizing the implementation of 5 contents: evaluating the results of the first 6 months of the year, deploying key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 and orienting the tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2026; summarizing Project 01 on promoting propaganda and information work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; giving opinions on the Project to organize the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term after rearranging and organizing the apparatus; Consulting to elect additional members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, members of the Presidium and Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; listening to opinions reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people from all walks of life and some other important contents.

At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented the draft proposal on the key orientations of the Front's work in 2026; the draft Project on organizing the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031; the draft Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Project No. 01/DA-MTTW-BTT dated May 5, 2015 on innovation in information and propaganda work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for delegates to discuss.

The conference also conducted consultations to elect personnel to participate in the Committee, Presidium, and Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.
Consultation to elect 23 members to join the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front
Accordingly, based on the report of the Presidium, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front agreed to consult and elect 23 people to join the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In which, the full-time staff includes 1 delegate: Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations (former Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee).
Representatives of the member organization include 2 people: Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Associate Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher Tran Quang Quy, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Retired Teachers.
The Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities include 19 people. One notable individual is Mr. Huynh Tan Dat, member of the Vietnam Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnamese Student Association in Australia.
Consultation to elect 7 people to join the Presidium
The conference also consulted to elect 7 people to join the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.
Of which, the full-time staff includes 1 person, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations (former Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee).
The representative of the member organization includes 1 person, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Consultation to elect 6 people as Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front
The conference also consulted to elect members of the Presidium to hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including:
Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations (former Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee).
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Mr. Luong Quoc Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Do Van Chien emphasized that this is a historic event, a turning point in the work of the Front. Among the delegates introduced and elected to join the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front includes 20 comrades who are Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee.
This demonstrates the Party's special concern in strengthening the role and historical mission of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the role of the political nucleus to consolidate, strengthen, build and promote the strength of great national unity, bringing the Vietnam Fatherland Front into a new era together with the entire Party, people and army to realize the aspiration of building our country into peace, independence, democracy, unity and prosperity.
