Ha Tinh allocates more than 1.6 billion VND to invest in 3 rural clean water projects

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the investor to speed up the completion of investment procedures and implement the project according to regulations, ensuring the disbursement of 100% of the assigned capital plan.

Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai has just signed and issued Decision No. 357/QD-UBND dated January 31, 2024 on allocating capital to carry out the task of preparing investment in concentrated rural clean water supply works from the capital source of the national target program on new rural construction in 2024.

The raw water source for Thach Son Water Plant will be replaced from Nghen River by Cu Lay Lake, Thuan Thien Commune, Can Loc.

Accordingly, more than 1.6 billion VND from the capital source of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2024 will be allocated to the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Protection to carry out the task of preparing investment for 3 centralized rural clean water supply projects.

In which, the Project to Upgrade and Expand the Thien Loc Water Supply Project for Vuong Loc Commune (Phase 3) with the amount of 570 million VND; the Project to Repair and Upgrade the Bac Cam Xuyen Water Supply Network System for Cam Vinh Commune with 587 million VND; the Project to Repair and Upgrade the Water Supply Project for Thach Bang Commune (to supply water to Binh An and Tan Loc Communes) with 451 million VND.

The Chairman of the People's Committee assigned the Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation (investor) to speed up the completion of investment procedures and project implementation according to regulations; ensuring the disbursement of 100% of the assigned capital plan.

The Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Finance, the Provincial State Treasury and relevant units, according to their assigned functions and tasks, shall guide and urge investors to implement projects on schedule; disburse and pay capital within the assigned time limit.

The Department of Planning and Investment and the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation, according to their functions and tasks, must take full responsibility before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and inspection and examination agencies for the accuracy and compliance with legal regulations of information, data, capital allocation plans, and advisory contents of the Provincial People's Committee.
