Businesses pledge to reduce use of plastic bags and single-use plastic products |
The program aims to raise consumer awareness, promote behavioral change and form the habit of using personal bags when shopping, thereby contributing to reducing plastic waste and plastic pollution in Hue City.
With the theme “Bringing green home”, the event “No plastic bag month” conveys the message: Each family should proactively reduce the amount of plastic generated when going to the market or shopping at the supermarket. Do not let plastic bags pile up in the kitchen corner or single-use plastic products become a burden on trash cans, houses and the surrounding environment.
Let's start with changes like bringing your own shopping bags, using eco-friendly bags instead of accepting plastic bags at the checkout counter, and minimizing single-use plastic products. A green - clean - sustainable living space will start with simple daily consumption choices.
In 2025, the event "No Plastic Bag Month" continues to receive active support from major retailers in Hue, contributing to spreading green lifestyles and promoting sustainable consumption habits in the community.
