*Pig price in the North:
On the morning of November 11, the price of live pigs in the Northern region remained stable at around 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.
Of which, the threshold of 64,000 VND/kg has appeared in many provinces and cities, including: Hanoi, Bac Giang , Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc. This is also the highest transaction level in the country.
*Pig price in the Central Highlands region
The Central Highlands provinces have a price difference of 1-3, purchasing at around 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are the two provinces recording the highest live pig prices in the region, reaching 63,000 VND/kg. Lower in price are Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Lam Dong, all selling at 62,000 VND/kg.
*Pig price in the Southern region
The Southern region has not recorded any new adjustments this morning. Accordingly, live pigs in this market are currently being sold at 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, Can Tho and An Giang are the two localities with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 63,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, the lowest price in the region is 60,000 VND/kg recorded in the provinces of Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu , Tra Vinh and Soc Trang.
* Aiming to export livestock products to reach 1 - 1.5 billion USD by 2025,
Director of the Department of Animal Health Nguyen Van Long said that the unit is actively negotiating to export livestock products to South Korea, China, Singapore, Europe, the UK, and Middle Eastern countries. At the same time, the number of manufacturing enterprises allowed to export to opened markets is increasing.
Mr. Phung Duc Tien - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development added that the Ministry has directed 3 key solutions to develop the livestock industry, which are: combating smuggling; reviewing the import of meat and meat products; and increasing exports.
