Nearly 600 police cadets perform drumming at Hang Day Stadium

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang attended the program. The opening ceremony of the 2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament attracted nearly 10,000 spectators.

The program opened with a grand and eye-catching performance "Festival Drum" combining lion, dragon and unicorn dances imbued with Vietnamese culture with the theme "Aspiration to shine".

The participation of nearly 600 students from the People's Police Academy - Ministry of Public Security in the elaborate performance left thousands of spectators unable to take their eyes off.

The opening ceremony of the ASEAN Police Football Tournament also saw the participation of many famous artists. Vo Ha Tram chose a tight sequin dress that attracted all eyes when performing with Dong Hung at Hang Day Stadium. To match Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung wore an elegant vest and a ton sur ton shirt.

The two singers created a heroic atmosphere when they harmonized their voices in a mashup of three songs: "The Road We Walk", "Joining Hands in a Big Circle" and "Unstoppable". The performance became even more impressive with the support of hundreds of dancers.

The applause and cheers of the 10,000 spectators seemed to fuel their fire. The melodies and lyrics familiar to fans of the sport of shorts and shirts were completely renewed, creating both a difference and emphasizing the value of art that transcends language barriers.

Then, artist Kim Long of the People's Police Music and Dance Theater, singers Dong Hung - Vo Ha Tram and four boys of the OPlus band appeared in the performance "Heal the world - Let's Shine - Road to glorious days". The artists made the atmosphere explode with vibrant, hearty music and high-pitched voices. The beautiful fireworks effects in each performance made the audience even more excited when watching the program.

The event also had the participation of MC Duc Bao and Phi Linh as MCs leading the program and the presence of Miss Do My Linh in the audience.

The 2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament will take place from July 7 to July 15, as part of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

The tournament is hosted by the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Department of Political Affairs (X03), the Vietnam Public Security Sports Association, the Department of Physical Training and Sports, and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). T&T Group and SHB Bank accompany and sponsor the tournament.

The hosts of this year's tournament are the two teams CAND Vietnam I and CAND Vietnam II. Of which, 05 ASEAN countries sent teams to participate: Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste and 01 team outside the bloc is Australia (with a Football Federation in Southeast Asia).

The tournament is divided into 2 groups, specifically: Group A competes at Hang Day Stadium, including the teams: CAND Vietnam I, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia. Group B competes at PVF Stadium in Hung Yen, including: CAND Vietnam II, Australia, Singapore, Timor Leste.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the competition between the two teams of the Vietnam People's Public Security and the Royal Thai Police took place at Hang Day Stadium.

The prize for the tournament champion is 30,000 USD, the runner-up team receives 15,000 USD and the two third-place teams receive 5,000 USD each.
