Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting to prepare content for the Special Session and Regular Session of the Provincial People's Council at the end of 2024.

At the 20th session of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee submitted 11 important resolutions regulating mechanisms and policies for implementing the province's socio -economic development tasks, which were approved by the Provincial People's Council. The preparation, coordination, and development of draft resolutions for the session were directed by the Provincial People's Committee to be implemented urgently, seriously, and responsibly.

In order to promptly handle unexpected tasks, meet practical requirements, and ensure compliance with legal regulations, based on the review and proposals of specialized agencies, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council organize a special session of the Provincial People's Council in October 2024 to submit 12 resolutions. At the regular year-end session of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee plans to submit 24 important resolutions related to the province's socio-economic development.

Based on the comments of the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegates attending the meeting, in his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the heads of departments, branches and localities to learn from experience, promote a high sense of responsibility, be more active and proactive in advising the Provincial People's Committee to review and submit the dossier for the Provincial People's Council resolution to ensure quality, on time and in accordance with legal regulations. In the process of drafting the resolution, it is necessary to closely coordinate, thoroughly study the expected resources and implementation costs; actively coordinate with the Provincial People's Council committees in the work of examining, surveying and collecting opinions from affected subjects to ensure the quality of the content. The Department of Planning and Investment focuses on completing the 2024 socio-economic report and the draft resolution related to investment to be submitted at the Provincial People's Council meeting at the end of the year. The Department of Justice and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, based on their assigned functions and tasks, shall strengthen monitoring and urging departments and branches to advise on the dossiers for drafting resolutions to ensure proactiveness, quality and compliance with the prescribed time. Particularly for some important draft resolutions and reports with broad content and newly arising issues, departments and branches shall proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee to propose and request the Provincial People's Council to extend the deadline for completing the dossiers so that the content of the resolutions ensures quality and regulations when presented at meetings.
