Dien Bien: 54 products certified as OCOP products

Dien Bien TV - After more than 3 years of implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program, Dien Bien province has had 54 products certified as provincial OCOP products, including 2 products certified with 4 stars and 52 products certified with 3 stars.

OCOP product evaluation and ranking council evaluates and ranks products.

To develop OCOP products, Dien Bien province has been reorganizing production, building and developing raw material areas associated with improving product quality; at the same time, increasing the connection between enterprises, cooperatives and farmers in production and product consumption to improve competitiveness, creating great added value for products under the One Commune One Product OCOP Program.

Currently, in the province, 9/10 districts, towns and cities have OCOP products, with nearly 30 production entities. The products have many positive changes in quality, packaging, labels, and traceability. Some products have raw material areas supported by VietGAP certification.

By 2025, Dien Bien province strives to have 40 more products certified as OCOP products./.
